Pixate Sunset: FAQ

We know you might have questions about Pixate winding down, so we've compiled an FAQ.

Sunsetting Pixate

Why are we winding down Pixate?

Pixate joined Google in 2015 to continue developing design tools and services that change the way interfaces are designed and built. While Pixate had a large impact on the design world, we feel we can have a much larger impact with the work we’ve started on brand new projects.

Will I still be able to use Pixate Studio?

Pixate Studio will no longer be available for download, but if you already have a copy, you can continuing using it for as long as you like. We will not be making any further updates to it, however. Additionally, the feature to upload to Cloud from within Studio will no longer work after October 31, 2016.

Will I still be able to use Pixate Cloud?

We are longer accepting new signups for Pixate Cloud, and all Cloud accounts went offline on October 31, 2016.

If I have a Pixate Cloud account, will I still be billed?

As of September 30, 2016, no Pixate Cloud accounts will be billed.

What will happen to my Pixate Cloud data?

As of October 31, 2016, the Pixate Cloud is completely offline. All information - including your projects, prototypes, member information, and billing info - has been deleted.

Will refunds be issued for existing Pixate Cloud accounts?

We issued refunds to Cloud with active accounts as of October 31, 2016 with remaining credit that was a result of prorated plan changes. If you feel you are due a refund and do not receive one, please email billing@pixate.com.

Are we still providing product support?

After October 31, 2016, we will no longer be available for direct support for Pixate.
